Andy Schleck hasn't given yet a good impression in TDS, his last race before the start of the Tour. But the challenger of Alberto Contador still doesn't worry. "The first mountain stage of the Tour is still faraway"Andy said.
It was a remarkable image on Thursday on the final climb to Malbun. After a few kilometers Andy had to give up. Finally he crossed the line 14 minutes after Steven Kruijswijk, who won the stage.
"I just had a bad day" the second one in last year TDF said. "I quickly felt that my legs were not good and I didn't want to insist. I didn't want to lose much energy."
"No, I don't panic. Last year I didn't had a good feeling to in the TDS and the first mountain stage of the tour is still faraway" Monfort said that the whole team still doesn't worry, they believe that Andy will be in a good shape in the tour. He also said that Andy needs the Tour pressure to be in an optimal shape"
