Tour of Oman: short report and results

Embedded image permalinkA break of course: Smukulis, Kreder and Di Corrado. They kept it going till the start of the Matrah Corniche finish circuit.  Then sprinters' teams took control but 3 km to go the peloton splitted again, Gilbert (BMC) leading the 1st group. After some very good placements finally Nacer Bouhanni got the higher spot on the podium. Taylor Phinney confirms his amazing shape.
Chris Froome won the overall and that is his first victory in a stages race.
