De Panne 4: Surprise... and not

Not a surprise Maciej Bodnar winning the final itt, not for me at least given that I interviewed him long time ago for a Yes we like... http://allezandy.blogspot.it/2011/12/yes-we-like-maciej-bodnar.html Bodnar is a terrific timetrialist but very often he must work as a team man pulling for his leader km after km. He's also a terrific roulleur.
Today the bad surprise came for Niki Terpstra, who's having a great season and aimed to win the overall in De Panne. It looked close, a tt the best way to bring it home after a very active three days on the road... instead... just down the ramp he had a problem with his clips or pedals, lost some times, kept cool, gave it all but it wasn't enough. A pity.
The good surprise came from his team mate Van Keirsbulck, who managed to set such a splendid time to secure anyway OPQS the overall.victory Outstanding!
