Tour of Britain 8: Roofs of London

Two stages, two stories, one city. The big one: London. Its roofs in a stunning curious view from the sky.
My eyes could barely stay on the race, distracted by the famous buildings, ancient, modern and contemporary, in that messy but typical mix.
The Thames, more brown than blue, quite moved. A huge crowd. And I wonder how London can stop two days for cycling while in Florence Worlds have been a national emergency... That was: the big city, London, all for cycling, all day.
In the TT Wiggins finally could show his new bike and a very good shape. In the final rr stage a break went away of course but of course got caught and they went to the sprint. Kittel won, as it often happens. On Cavendish and a very good Ruffoni.
Race winner Dylan Van BaarleThe Dutch Dylan Van Baarle won Tour of Britain for Garmin-Sharp. I'm sorry for Alex Dowsett who was awarded with the Combactivity Prize: he was probably hoping for something more... but hey, he gave us the most exciting day in that - sum up - boring race!
