Cyclocross: Scheldecross Crown Mathiew Van der Poel, and Sweeck gets to the light spot

Heavy terrain, dry, almost sandy. Several crashes.
A no story race. Mathieu Van der Poel put in place a smashing performance. Nobody really reacted. Tom Meeusen looked good but it lived short. The only true contender was Sweeck. Who? Yep, I was the same. Who's Sweeck? A brave one!
He attacked, gained a gap, kept leading solo for a while then Mathieu Van der Poel decided that it was time to give it a cut in spite there were still 6 laps to go. He left the chasing group, easily bridged, joined Sweeck and dropped him after half a lap. 5 laps to go he crossed the line solo, lapping a rider in the process. And nobody could catch him.
Sweeck resisted, finishing 2nd, and with a flat tyre. As happy as the winner - even more.
Tom Meeusen was 3rd but I was expecting a more aggressive race by him.
