Tour de France 2015 Sum Up

Embedded image permalinkI'm typing on my phone in a cosy room in the Rinner Hotel on the Ritten Highland. It's all dark outside, the Alps are asleep. The Tour is over with a last victorious sprint by André Greipel. On wet rainy crowded boulevards.
I can't write here but I prepared a kind of short Sum Up.

GREAT
1 Chris Froome: strong smart and kind
2 André Greipel: basicly won every sprint.
3 Peter Sagan: no win but a Green Jersey conquered in daily breaks on any terrain.
4 Joaquim Rodriguez: no GC but hey!  Two great stages!
5 Bauke Mollema: a great TdF by a stubborn Dutch who fought every day and gave everything.
6 Simon Yates: a great debout!
7 Mathias Frank: over his limits.
8 Robert Gesink: not only a good GC but often in front with the main contenders.
9 Cyril Gautier: how much did he work?! Priceless.
10 ALL Team Sky: no win without a great team devoted to its leader.
11 ALL AG2R: great leaders and fantastic team workers achieved great results.
12 Bob Jungels: simply impressive
13 Serge Pauwels: always on the attack
14 ALL Qhubeka:  honoured the wild card and Africa  with a win and some days in Polka Dot Jersey
