Ruta del Sol 2: Bouhanni

Only one climb today. There is a break-away including Honing, Pols, Torres and Gonzalez. After 45 km their gap is 3'20". Tinkoff and Sky are chasing and 35 km to go the advantage is down to 1'10".
All together 30 km to go. Team Sky is leading toward the climb.
26 km to go Siutsou attacks and immediately gets a 20" advantage. Descent now and 21 km to go.
Ex team mates of Team Sky are leading the chase and now attacks are coming from the peloton: the gap is going down.
Sioutsou gets caught 11 km to go and now Wellens tries. 7 km to go a 19 riders group is 10' ahead a larger chasing group.
All together again 3 km to go. It's a bunch sprint and Bouhanni wins it.

Simon Geschke:
"Not a fan of sprinters that get pushed   up the last climb by teammates and then win the stage."

Tosh Van der Sande:
"7th today and 5th in GC ! Thanks @Lotto_Soudal for the support... Tmrw hard stage let see how it turns out ! #rutadelsol"

Fabio Felline:
"Happy with my 2nd today but let's look forward 💪👍#62rds #workingprogress"
