TdF 15: Team Sky Boredom... and more

NOT an exciting race. I watched it all but couldn't write because I was attending my son's race: way more interesting. My son was in a large break-away, worked maybe too much but his work allowed the break to fly 3' ahead the peloton, 700 m from the line he anticipated, because he isn't fast, was caught and still finished on 8th position. Bravo! I'm a very proud mom!
Son in the top ten! #proudmom
In the Tour there was a large break-away too. Majka and Serge Pawels fought for the KOM points and Majka finished 2nd so he secured the Polka Dot Jersey. But Pantano conquered the stage at the sprint while he was with Majka few seconds ahead Vuillermoz (3rd) and Reichenbach.
In the peloton Team Astana did a lot of work... for Team Sky, and in spite there was Nibali in the break-away. Aru 'attacked' but Valverde closes the gap. Froome and company had to do basicly nothing.
Tomorrow I leave to Berne and to the Tour. I'll write but on my phone so don't expect much.

Jarlinson Pantano:
"It's an incredible day for me. I came to the Tour de France thinking I'd try to win a stage but to do it is difficult to believe. I'd hope to do it but this is incredible. I want to thank my IAM teammates, who did a great job for me in the attack. I also want to thank my family, especially my wife, who have always supported me. This is a special day for me."

Alexis Vuillermoz:
"3rd place in this mountain 15th stage of the Tour de France at just 6 seconds! I can have some regrets about my placement in the descent but I prefer to keep improving my power day by day. Tomorrow start from Moirans in the mountain, 20 km from the town where I was born, Saint Claude. It's going to be a great moment: racing the TdF on my land! Thank you to the Jura shop and to all the inhabitants of San Claudien, Jurassien et Franc Comtois who support me since my debout!"

Rafal Majka:
“I'm happy with my performance today - it's not easy to take the KOM jersey and win the stage. I wanted to take everything but in the end I didn't want to take too much risk in the descent – I crashed four days ago and am still suffering a bit in my arms with the vibrations in the road. I knew Pantano would be quick at the finish, but still I'm happy with my race today.”
